The book of Jonah provides valuable insight into man's constant need to reshape his otherwise shortsighted perspective; through assorted events viewed through the biblical author's characterization, one gains a significantly better understanding of Jonah by way of his words, actions and encounters with the biblical God. Based upon these inferences, one can conclude how the author's reasons for and/or defenses of Jonah's actions provide the foundation upon which mankind must learn from and compromise with life's perpetual need for restructure.
